We do everything you can imagine in stained glass and leaded glass, including all types of ecclesiastical work for Churches, temples and all houses of worship. We create new stained glass windows as well as do full restoration and refurbishment on aged and damaged stained glass windows. In the picture above we are reinstalling original stained glass Tiffany windows after we fully restored them in a church in Patchogue, New York. These windows needed to be fully dismantled, all the glass cleaned, replaced all broken and shattered pieces of glass and fully re-leaded them, making these windows look like they originally looked when they were created in the early 1900’s.
Other types of stained glass that we have done for churches include hand painted details in windows. This photo depicts the process of dismantling this stained glass window, then fully cleaning each piece of glass, and replacing all broken or shattered pieces of glass with new, hand-cut opalescent glass pieces of glass, matching the original colors and density of glass. Any shattered hand painted pieces of glass shall be re-cut and then hand painted and baked in our kiln, matching the original artwork. At this point in the restoration process web began to lay the glass out on the new full-size drawings we created and fully re-leading the window.
