Leaded glass windows can offer privacy in any area of the home, but it completely necessary in this bathroom. This amazing bathroom with white claw tub, and marble from floor to ceiling is the perfect setting for an elegant leaded glass window. The diamond design with a center medallion in all rippled cut glass makes this piece the perfect functional work of art for the space and truly makes this bathroom spectacular! It offers privacy and elegance, our client was thrilled with the final outcome!
This close up shot really shows the textured glass that we utilized to create this piece. Seeing through this window wasn’t an option so we used as much texture as possible and yet still utilizing crystal, colorless glass. I love the diamond leaded glass pattern in the background, surrounding this center medallion. Its a subtle piece that is completely private and elegance! Whoever said privacy glass can’t be elegant didn’t see this piece.
Another full privacy bathroom shower double leaded glass window. Our client came to us with double, slider Anderson windows that they wanted us to create something that would offer them privacy and yet not block the light coming into the room. We created this diamond with intersecting jewels and scroll border, utilizing all sorts of textured glass to offer privacy, light and beauty into the room.
So another great way of offering privacy, but have lots of color is by adding an opalescent stained glass window. Our client had a bathroom window that they wanted to create a beautiful waterscene in order to give privacy to the bathroom. This water scene featuring a blue heron and reeds, does just that. We used a blue-purple with hints of pink for the sky and a rippled blue glass for the water. I absolute love the ripples of water around the Heron’s legs. The way we shaded the glass in the heron’s body and plumage really makes this bird lifelike. #StainedGlassWindows #PrivacyGlass #Heron #NorthShoreLongIsland
This next stained glass piece our client wanted something special, but at the same time to offer privacy to her bathroom. So we created this really cool stained glass fish piece in a water type scene, with a flowering tree branch in the upper portion of the window. The colorful piece is made up of blues, greens, and golds and then we surrounded it all with a rippled, multi color border. The scales of the fish sparkle, and you can literally feel the movement of the fish tail! I love nautical type pieces that have other elements like the flowers. There is a natural earthiness to this Nautical piece that is very soothing and serene! Great way to offer privacy in any bathroom, but especially a beach house in the Hamptons.
